BONNY VOCATIONAL CENTRE
The Bonny Vocational Centre is an NLNG/Bonny Kingdom partnership project to promote vocational/entrepreneurial skills acquisition, development of technical competences and self reliance in youths in Bonny community in particular and Rivers State in general.
It is an educational establishment that is geared towards meeting the needs and aspirations of the community through a three-tier City & Guilds of London International Vocational Qualification (IVQ) curriculum. On successful completion of the three (3) year training program, the student is awarded the International Vocational Qualification (IVQ) Level III Advanced Diploma of the City & Guilds of London Institute. IVQ’s are designed to demonstrate that learners have both the technical knowledge and hands-on ability to carry out practical tasks within their respective chosen disciplines. IVQ’s offer a progressive structure of levels so that they are suitable for both beginners and experienced workers and offer learners great opportunities for career development, mobility as well as progression to higher education and better more rewarding jobs prospects.

Bonny Vocational Centre (BVC) has recently successfully achieved the London Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) Approved Centre status and will begin delivering these Qualifications from April 2011. Joining the largest awarding body for leadership & management qualifications in the UK and a global network of over 2,000 accredited centers, BVC will offer qualifications in Team Leading, First Line Management, Middle Management and Advanced Management.
