| Personal Data | Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person including name, identification numbers, contact details, location data, online identifiers (IP, MAC, IMEI), biometric data, private correspondence, opinions, preferences, and sensitive personal data. |
| Processing | Any operation performed on personal data including collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure, dissemination, alignment, restriction, erasure, or destruction. |
| Sensitive Personal Data | Personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade-union membership, criminal records, biometric or genetic data, health information, or details about a person’s sex life or sexual orientation. |

NLNG respects the rights and privacy of every individual and organization it interacts with and has put in place policies and procedures regarding the confidentiality and protection of personal data in line with relevant legislation.
Whenever you see “we”, “us”, or “our” in this notice, it refers solely to NLNG.
This notice explains how NLNG handles your personal data when you:
NLNG may share personal data with subsidiaries, affiliates, service providers, logistics partners, consultants, and regulatory authorities where required by law. All sharing is carried out in compliance with the NDPA.
NLNG processes personal data based on lawful grounds recognized by the NDPA including consent, contractual necessity, legal obligation, vital interests, public interest, and legitimate interests.
NLNG may transfer personal data outside Nigeria only where such transfer complies with applicable data protection laws and safeguards.
Personal data is retained only for the period necessary to meet business, regulatory, or legal requirements in line with NLNG Data Retention Policy.
NLNG implements technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse and will notify relevant authorities in the event of a data breach where required by law.
Where personal data of minors is required, NLNG will obtain consent from the parent or guardian before processing such data.
